Mercy International is a humanitarian and voluntary organization. We are based in Africa and are non-governmental. The organization is established
for the purpose of assisting refugees and poor rural dwellers across the continent of
Africa.
As a result of constant wars and conflicts, millions are displaced thus lacking needed food,
clothing and shelter. Rural dwellers often are without the basics of life necessities
and amenities.
Objectives and Functions.
Provision of basic necessities.
Social Amenities (pipe borne water, roads, electricity, etc.)
Education (Nursery & Primary Schools in rural areas.)
Scholarships.
Refugee Assistance (Resettlement.)
Medical Care (provision of primary health care.)
Africa has one of the larger continuous masses of land, than Asia, North
America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia,
listed in order of size. (Europe and Asia are sometimes considered a single continent, Eurasia.)
